Teeth Grinding Cure - Finding A Cure For Bruxism

Teeth Grinding Cure ... have you found one yet?

If you suffer from grinding your teeth at night, more properly known as bruxism, you'll be well aware that finding a cure for it can be a hard task.

"Well, there's those night mouthguards?" I hear you say.

Yes, yes there are. But I would hardly call those a cure ... they're more a, well, a band-aid on the problem.

Yes, they prevent teeth grinding against each other and can help you get to sleep much easier. The thing is, you're stuck wearing a mouthguard at night every-night ... so it's not really treating the cause of the issue.

And in fact, the cause of the issue can be easier to treat you would think. One of the main reasons people suffer from Bruxism is to do with not getting a proper night's sleep and/or going to sleep with stress and tension still in their bodies. Grinding teeth in sleep is often a reaction to today's stressful modern world.

By going back to the basics and properly unwinding before we go to sleep, we are able to grant ourselves a much better night's sleep. But by sleeping better, we are less likely to grind our teeth at night.

Throw into the mix some jaw exercises that also help to remove the tension from your mouth and you are more than half way there to being able to be rid of both your bruxism and your mouthguard.

It's an interesting concept, does it really work? You can find out more about it here :
